Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid DisposableScan plans. It applies in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew and your account reverts to the free tier.
2. Refund Eligibility
Because the Service provides immediate access to a digital, usage-based API, fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period has begun. However, we will consider refunds in good faith in the following cases:
- You were charged in error or charged more than once for the same period (duplicate payment).
- A verified technical fault on our side prevented you from using your paid plan for a sustained period and we could not resolve it.
- A refund is required under applicable consumer-protection law.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
- Requests made after significant usage of the plan's quota during the billing period.
- Change of mind after the billing period has started, where the Service is functioning as described.
- Suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email support@disposablescan.com from your registered email address with your payment reference and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment partner, Razorpay. Once processed, it typically takes 5–10 business days for the amount to reflect, depending on your bank or card issuer.
